The Celebrating Stories committee proudly presents.... Kevin Sylvester!

Kevin Sylvester is an award-winning illustrator, writer, and broadcaster, based in Toronto. He is well known to middle grade students for his MINRs series and Neil FlambĂ© series. To the younger crowds, he is known for his "Super Duper Monster Viewer", "Splinters", and his most recent publication - GREAT (a book with the Wayne Gretzky Foundation that is currently nominated for the Blue Spruce 2018 award).

During this presentation, Kevin will share some of his picture books with children, as well as some other silly stories to get them warmed up. After his readings, he will do a cartooning "class" with the kids, showing them how they can turn simple shapes into faces and animals, etc.

This presentation is best suited for children in grades SK-3 with their caregivers however Kevin is a dynamic and enthusiastic presenter that will surely delight an audience of all ages.

Join us as we share some wonderful books and be inspired to make illustrations and stories of our own! Don't forget to bring your own books for Kevin to sign!
