To celebrate our 2023 One Book, One Milton choice, Run Towards the Danger by author, actor, director, and screenwriter Sarah Polley, MPL is offering a free screening of her Academy Award-winning movie Women Talking. Sarah Polley wrote and directed the movie, which won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay (2023). See the movie before attending An Evening with Sarah Polley on October 26 at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton. Popcorn provided.

Synopsis: Do nothing. Stay and fight. Or leave. In 2010, the women of an isolated religious community grapple with reconciling a brutal reality with their faith.
