Bee Ecology 101

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Event Details

Do you know how many species of bees there are in the world? Do you know what benefits bees offer the environment? In honour of Milton Public Library’s new Indigenous Garden, special guest Clement Kent, Adjunct Professor of the Department of Biology at York University, will be teaching more about our bee garden. In this presentation, Clement will discuss the diversity of bees, their important role in pollination, what challenges they face, and how we can help them in our own gardens and communities.

This event will be hosted virtually through zoom.
