This year Milton Public Library is the proud recipient of $50K in funding from the Government of Canada’s Healthy Communities Initiative. Collaborating with local Indigenous organization Grandmother’s Voice, MPL recently planted a new Indigenous Garden with Miinikaan (‘the SEED in Ojibwe). The purpose of the garden is to inspire a more inclusive, inviting and vibrant community space and to offer an opportunity to cultivate the garden.

Please bring a hat, gloves and sunscreen.

Participants will be eligible for volunteer hours for participating in this program.
