Grades 9-12. Whether you’re doing a school project or helping your community, information from the past can add depth to your work – but where do you find it, and how can you assess your sources? Led by the Archives of Ontario, this session will help you understand and use archives, helping you build your skills as a researcher. FYI: archives are a super-important tool for students at the post-secondary level! You’ll learn what you can find in an archives and how to get it. We’ll also cover some basics of evaluating sources, so that you’re ready to think critically about information you find, and you’ll discover some of the many career options archives have to offer. Join us and get to know archives: a valuable resource for students, researchers, citizens, and communities!
