The Celebrating Stories committee proudly presents.... Andrew Larsen!

 Andrew Larsen lives in a neighborhood in Toronto that has tall trees, old houses and lots of stories. He lives with his wife and two children. Sometimes Andrew goes looking for stories and sometimes stories come looking for him. Over the past 9 years he has written 6 picture books, and one novel, including “In the Tree House” and “Goodnight, Hockey Fans”.  His most recent publication, A SQUIGGLY STORY, has been nominated for the Blue Spruce 2018 award. 

During this presentation, Andrew will share some of his picture books with children, and talk about the process of creating his books. After that, he will lead the families in a simple bookmaking exercise, demonstrating how a single piece of paper can be turned into a book.  

 This presentation is best suited for children in grades JK-3 with their caregivers however, Andrew is a dynamic and enthusiastic presenter that will surely delight an audience of all ages. 

 Join us as with share some wonderful books and be inspired to make books of your very own! Don't forget to bring your own books for Andrew to sign!
